FIRST CONTACT: LOST TRIBE OF THE AMAZON

In June 2014, the world was transfixed by images of men emerging from the deepest Amazonian rainforest for the first time. This tribe were among the last people living on our planet who have had no contact with the outside world.

Filmmaker Angus Macqueen gains exclusive access to this extraordinary tribe. It is also the story of a war between tribes. Do they want to come out? If so, why now? And are they truly inhabitants of some Garden of Eden, or refugees of an earlier genocide? One thing is certain – that these are the last days of the last uncontacted people on earth.

Moving, and sad, often scary, sometimes funny, and absolutely fascinating. I wanted more
