Announcing Drive’s debut slate for Mipcom

We’re pleased to unveil our first slate for Mipcom, along with a number of pre-sales, coproduction and finished programme deals.

We’ve secured pre-sale funding for Building Star Trek from SBS Australia and ZDF. It’s being produced by Yap Films for the Smithsonian Channel and Discovery Canada. We will take both 1 x 120 and 1 x 60 versions to Mipcom.

We’ll also be launching The World’s Deadliest Weather, a coproduction with Back2Back. It’s been financed through a range of pre-sales and will be available in 13 x 60 or 26 x 30 formats.

Also on the slate is Hell Below produced by Parallax Film Productions, for which we have already brokered deals with the Smithsonian Channel and National Geographic.

In addition, we’re pleased to bring our new, exclusive slate of 1000 short form films from Barcroft Media to Mipcom.

It's very exciting to be going to Mipcom with a distribution slate of completed programmes, much of which comprises series and specials for which we have also secured the primary production funding.
