Lilla Hurst and Ben Barrett join forces to launch Drive

Lilla Hurst and Ben Barrett have joined forces to create a new company to facilitate coproductions for clients. The move sees Hurst’s Lillavision merging with Barrett’s consultancy to create Drive. Lillavision’s Robyn Hurd, VP of sales for English-speaking territories, and Jane Pitts, VP of sales for Italy, Spain and Latin America, will be joining the new firm.

Joining up with Ben allows me to continue doing what I love while expanding into new territories and new areas of business, in particular the scripted market. Together, we will be greater than the sum of our parts, and able to react to the growing demand we are seeing.

We believe that international funding will play an ever increasing role in the future, and this merger is about putting ourselves in the best possible place to service the needs of producers and broadcasters in that respect.
