Drive hires former C5 exec
International financing firm Drive has hired former Channel 5 and Tigress Productions executive Lulu Prutton.
Prutton has joined the company in the newly created role of acquisitions and sales executive.
She will be responsible for sourcing content for Drive’s fledgling distribution division, as well as searching for projects that require pre-sales and co-production financing.
Prutton, who joined from documentary firm New Earth Films, will also sell content to broadcasters and operators in the Middle East, Africa, Central Europe and Baltics, working closely with head of sales Laura Masson.
She previously worked on C5 projects such as Megastructures, Meerkat Manor and Britain’s Greatest Machines.
”Lulu is one of those rare breeds of people who have great creative and commercial experience, which is a massive asset in our business. In her previous roles she’s proven she has a great sense of what works both in the UK and internationally, and we’re delighted she has chosen to bring that expertise to Drive.
