Drive and Barcroft making a splash online

This week Broadcast explores how natural history producers are reaching younger viewers by embracing new platforms, technology and content.
 

This includes our recent deal with Barcroft, where our strategy is to see how the company can serialise its short-form content for sale on the international market – to linear broadcasters as well as other digital players.

Barcroft has three teams of full-time producers working on stories, and also acquires content from non-traditional suppliers such as the public and smaller filmmakers. They also have a successful ongoing partnership with Graham Wallington’s WildEarth, which has built its reputation on live wildlife broadcasting.
