Drive take part in Brexit roundtable

Drive were invited by Realscreen to take part in a post-Brexit roundtable discussion about the impact of the vote on the factual and doc industry. Ben was asked about the effect on our current work, and immediate concerns for the future.

Drive partner with Back2Back on second season of World’s Deadliest

We’re pleased to announce a continued partnership with Back2Back.

We first joined forces in 2015 for World’s Deadliest Drivers (13×30’), which is currently in the final stages of production.

We are now working on World’s Deadliest Weather, which will be available to broadcasters as both a 13×60’ and 26×30’ series. Drive is handling international distribution, and the show will be financed by international pre-sales secured by Drive. Broadcasters in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa are already on board.


Zodiak alum Laura Masson joins Drive as Head of Sales

We’re pleased to announce that Laura Masson, ex-Zodiak, joins Drive to take day-to-day responsibility for finished programme sales on a worldwide basis, as well as pre-sales into major European markets. She will work closely with Ben and Lilla on coproductions.

Masson spent 18 years at RDF Television, RDF Media Group and then Zodiak Media, where she was senior VP of sales, playing a key role in building RDF’s distribution arm. Most recently she was an international sales consultant for Twofour Rights.


Andrew Baker joins the board at Drive

We’re pleased to welcome Andrew Baker onto Drive’s board as a non-executive director.

Andrew is a former ITV head of business affairs, who launched Rights TV in 2004 before selling it to Compact Media Group in 2011. His experience and knowledge make him the ideal person to continue Drive’s expansion. He has a respected reputation and great industry contacts.

Andrew joins the board in a strategic and advisory role to grow the business in the UK and internationally.
